Basic Rapid

This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series Bread Maker
  • Recipe #: 2
  • Size: Large
  • Crust: Medium

Result

Exactly what you’d expect really – a basic white loaf of bread, think of a sliced pan, but unsliced. Its a soft white loaf, good texture, good sized for sandwiches.

Possible changes

Next time a little less sugar as it was a little bit sweet for my tastes, and maybe go for the dark bake

Adventures with a Bread Maker

This entry is part 1 of 2 in the series Bread Maker

I’m starting this series to keep track of the different breads I’m playing with as well as the results for each one of the recipes.

The base ingredients will be the same for all, so should be an interesting comparison.

  • Bread Maker / Machine: Panasonic SD-ZB2512
  • Flour: Miller’s Best (MB) Bakers Flour
  • Butter: Kerrygold (salted – I just subtract a little salt from each recipe to compensate)
  • Salt
  • White Sugar
  • McDougalls Bread Yeast (Fast Action)
